Sources States

Depending on the current state of a source you may see different symbols and have different options for further actions.

Queued

The source is created but the file is not yet uploaded, because it is waiting for other uploads to be completed. Available actions: delete

Uploading

The file's raw data is sent to the server. Available actions: delete

Converting

The file's data is uploaded and is now transformed to become a compatible source. Available actions: delete; retry conversion

Failed

One of the above steps has failed or the source is not found or broken. Available actions: delete; retry conversion

Ready

Depending on the file type, the ready state is indicated by their type-icon. Available actions: delete; rename; download and more → see locking states

Locking states

Once the source is available (see above), there are two locking states that define available actions in relation to coding.

Unlocked

The source is available and can be edited freely. Available actions: lock to code

Locked

The source is locked for coding, so no editing is available until unlocked Available actions: unlock
